These are exciting days for the State Convention of Baptists in Indiana. The search team has been moving at a fast pace looking for a new executive director. It is an honor for me to serve on that team as we are prayerfully fulfilling the search process on behalf of our churches. Continue to pray for us as we do our work looking for God’s man as the new executive director.

These are also exciting days as our state convention has the opportunity to partner with the North American Mission Board in utilizing funds for evangelism that can be used in our churches, college ministries and church plants. I am very grateful for NAMB and this opportunity. The strategy of these funds has come directly from Indiana and the needs that we have seen in sharing the gospel all across our state.

These are also exciting days in an unusual way as ministry has the unique challenge of Covid-19 again. I wish this were not the case. I am hearing from pastors all across Indiana who are experiencing Covid-19 personally. They are experiencing it in their church and struggling with what to do. May we as pastors and church leaders pray for each other. Encourage each other. Stand with each other. And not judge each other. There are many opinions about lots of things. We are Southern Baptists. It is ok if we disagree, but may we disagree agreeably.

I am praying for you and desire to see God moving in your churches and in your hearts.
