Every woman leader desires a life of usefulness in the Kingdom of God. She leads out of her gifts, talents, passions and abilities. Whether leading in the church, home or secular setting, God calls women to be world-changers – impacting the world we live in for Christ. This year SCBI Women begin a new leadership development opportunity designed just for women. Join other women as they study and discuss this semester’s book, Clout: Discover and Unleash your God-given Influence by Jenni Catron.
The first two gatherings have been scheduled and women are already registering to attend. On Saturday, November 20th at Eastern Heights Baptist Church in Jeffersonville, the first forum will take place from 9 am-noon. The second event is slated to occur in a virtual zoom setting on Saturday, February 5th. Those registered will read this semester’s book at home in preparation for the gathering and then join in a round table setting to discuss and learn some of the key leadership principles covered in the book. This will be an incredible time of networking women with each other while encouraging women to discover and unleash their God-given influence as they lead.
There will be many more opportunities to participate in the Rise: Women’s Leadership Forum in the days ahead with more locations for gatherings and a variety of different leadership-related topics to unpack. We hope that many women will take their leadership to the next level by joining in!
