I became a follower of Jesus Christ at the age of six at Southside Baptist Church in Anderson, Indiana. I have been married to my wife, Laura, for almost 33 years. We have one son who is a software engineer in Chicago.

I attended Indiana University and received a Bachelor of Music in Organ Performance. Upon graduation, I began my ministry as a Minister of Music at a church in Indianapolis. After a few years, we moved to Fort Worth where I attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and I received a Master of Music degree (and became a Southern Baptist). I served as Minister of Music at First Baptist Church Centre. Alabama. After two years, I began preaching at the pastor’s request and when he retired, I became the senior pastor of the church. During that time, I completed a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. In 2012, I came back to Indiana to serve as a church planter. In 2015, I became interim pastor at Warren Baptist Church and officially the pastor the following year. I have been a Warren Baptist Church since 2015.

Right now, the Lord is slowly making our congregation into a multi-ethnic, multi-national congregation. We are seeing people get excited about learning about Christ and following Him. We’ve had the joy of celebrating a few baptisms in the last year too!
