The Northwest Indiana Baptist Association, in partnership with the State Convention of Baptists in Indiana, was pleased to welcome Dr. Jeff Iorg, president of Gateway Seminary, to Northwest Indiana for “Lead Better,” a one-day conference.
Dr. Iorg shared insights on the topic of ‘Spiritual Vitality in Cultural Chaos,’ giving extraordinary insight on how to lead our churches throughout tumultuous times. Dr. Iorg stressed the importance of a healthy leader. If the pastor is not spiritually nourished and healthy, how can he then pastor a spiritually healthy church?
That day 50 pastors were encouraged and refreshed to continue the ministry God has placed before them. Thanks to our partnership with the SCBI, each pastor went home with two books and many goodies. We thank SCBI for their encouragement and willingness to connect for kingdom advancement.
