On August 28th and 29th I had the privilege of being able to go to the Replant Summit and NAMB headquarters. The Replant Summit is a time when the people from our North American Missions Board pour into church replanters and church revitalizers. They know taking a dying church and helping it thrive again takes a lot of work. This is their way of saying thank you for all that you do.
The theme this year was renewal. There were main sessions and breakout sessions throughout the two days. The theme stayed the same though. You were told over and over it is okay to rest. It is okay to take care of yourself, and your family, and just develop a closer relationship with God.
There is so much to take away from the experience. I plan to take what I have learned and use it to help the church that I am a part of. I also plan to use it as a Next Step Connector for the state. If you want to know any more about the Replant Summit just reach out to me. I want to help pastors and churches in our state in any way that I can. This experience has let me gain resources to do just that. I looking forward to hearing from you.
